Home for about two days now. Cats were well. I've jumped back into massive pottery decorating. I destroyed the gryphon figurine I was making (rather, I knew it was cracking and liable to fall apart, so I decided to try and proceed as if it wouldn't, to see What Would Happen.) Got some writing in, too, and some editing, of the trimming variety, all on Bird. One character no longer has an uncle. (You know you don't need a character when two word searches and the deletion of five sentences over 12 chapters can excise him entirely. I'm sure there are exceptions, but so far, I haven't found one.)
The Cultural anthropology quiz was 88%. My Canadian History paper, which is hardly more than a book review, but a book review of a book i haven't finished, was moved from a week from today to the Tuesday after. Even so, it's a good thing the book is interesting and worth reading, or I'd worry about my chances.
OTOH, the university faculty may go on strike as of next Thursday. (One union -- support staff -- already are, which means no garbage is being picked up, but some people don't seem to get what that means and don't tidy after themselves.)
I've decided it doesn't qualify as crossing the picket line to keep carving designs on pottery or making gryphon and mermaid figurines, since I'm doing at least 2/3 of that, probably more, outside class time already. But I'm wondering if I shouldn't bring more of it home to work on.
There is no such thing as sleep.
