Still, that night I dreamed of the sea.

Add another 1100 words (And Loreena McKennitt's new CD) to that last Progress Note, and basically all new text (at this point, though, i'm following closely on the scenes from the last draft.)
Apparantly, after sitting back a while reading LJs, my stomach muscles (Sore from the shovelling, but exacerbated by the slouching) eased, and I decided I was really itching to write a little more. Just a little. Yeah.
And I made it far enough to add a "mean things" to the entry, too: My main character is trying to decide right now if he's suddenly become psychic with no forewarning, or if he's going mad. And **nobody** will explain to him what's going on.

Date: 2007-01-04 12:14 am (UTC)Part of me was thinking about printing out and sending off the next several chapters when I send my last two big -- and now very late -- Christmas parcels. Not to pressure you to speed up, I'm fine with continuing to write the current stuff. It would mainly be to get all my mailing done at once. Would you object if I did pre-empt you?
Remember I did say that you could call a halt with the first few if it's insufficiently developed.

Date: 2007-01-04 10:40 pm (UTC)Either way, i'll be sending you up to part eight, which is decidedly the shortest and most structurally problematic bit in the whole thing.
