Progress notes for August 13, 2006:

Raising the Storm


New Words: 1234 words.
Reason for stopping: Time for bed, and besides, while I've had the computer on the whole time, I also spent half an hour rereading bits of Ranma ½, and as long looking at newly received pictures of me and others making fools of ourselves (Thank you, frisky_turtle!)
Tea: Bengal Spice
Music: Heather Dale, May Queen, Emmylou Harris, Red Dirt Girl, Peter Gabriel, Passion.
Mean Things: Surprisingly few. The good guys are doing the right thing right now, and the cost hasn't come clear yet.
Can't stop fidgeting: Only in the form of doing entirely unrelated activities. No editing today!

Inevitable asides: There's no obvious way for a special student to apply for a loan. I'll have to say I'm going into arts, or see if they have anything for education prerequisites (I didn't spot it, but then I wasn't looking for it).


And if I may repeat, Thank you, frisky_turtle, for the pictures (Of this event) and the earring.

I can't really put them up in a public place, as I don't have permission from most of the people there, but call me sometime and I can show them to you. On Colin's computer, though; mine is still stretching everything to fit widescreen, so all pictures look funny - and in this case, we look fat.

I'll e-mail you a teaser shot, though...
