Boring Grumbling about classes for fall.

I tried to apply for student loans via their online system, and it goes as far (I think) as letting me register in the system, then crashes, with a message to say try again tomorrow. Even if they promise a two week turnaround (As they do with the online thing) I'm feeling it's a bit close for that kind of delay.
Then, I'm looking at courses (Last night I found out some of the classes I wanted are full... but not the extent of the damage since I started looking at it all too near to 1:00 AM)
One of the three different sessions of "the Medieval World" history course my brother enjoyed is still open, with the professor my brother really really liked ... the one that clashes with 16th Century Literature, which, with medieval literature essentially full and 17th C. not even available at the campus (Why, someone tell me, put it in the catalogue if you're not actually going to run it this year?), is *the* English course I wanted.
I found an acceptable but more generalised (And lower level) history class I'd be willing to take, that isn't full, but *it* clashes with the only time the Science requirement isn't full . I'm not even mentioning the "Oh, that looks interesting" alternate courses that are full left right and centre. Mathematics are right insane. The one I wanted is full in all 3 possible times, the one that isn't full (I don't think) is Wednesday Nights (There goes rejoining the SCA dance group because I'm at the University more!)
Ceramics is out unless I opt not to work at all at my current job, and to skip the whole science thing.
I'm this close to saying to heck with the U of W. requirement that I be an all rounded sort, and to hell with trying to work, and going for the schedule I want... bad Lenora. That's not the point of this.
I know that if I'm short one class or miss one thing... there's always Summer Session. As long as you're enrolled and your GPA suggests your chances of passing are high, they'll even take summer sessions into consideration for the next year.
But it's no fun having put together 5 schedules, all with alternates built in, and have all of them put paid to one way or t'other. Yes, even if you come up with a sixth viable schedule with the same wiggle room.

No writing yesterday, no writing tonight. Mostly but not exclusively due to trying to deal with the above schedule. Which I don't think is adequate excuse, but YMMV.
