lenora_roseI ahve some lengthier ideas for posts burbling away, and the first one should probably be at least a quick update what I've been doing that's been keeping me busy (Since that involves Keycon, plus the whole family-and-friends run of birthdays that is late April/early May. I am literally, and that *is* as in not figuratively, surrounded by Tauruses. Tauri? Regardless of pluralization, it includes my mom, brother, husband, and at least three close friends ).
Meantime, a short thought.
Right now, I've purposely kept Facebook under my full name to actual family, in-Winnipeg friends, and SCA friends. I do kind of want to keep it that way, even though i do mention writing stuff there in passing.
I've been thinking a bit about doing a second Facebook under my "wildly different"* art and writing publication name (Lenora Rose, as above). It would probably be mostly people from the SF industry (writers etc.). Should I bother? Will it kill my LJ even more and make me wholly forget how to post at length? Will it just mean I get into stupid pointless political arguments with a different subset of friends and friends-of-friends, or actually be useful?
Right now it's just idle noodling; I'd need at least another story out to make it really worth it.

While I make some shift to cover friends' names, usually by using their SCA names or LJ handles, there seems to be a stubborn streak in my family wherein everyone has used at least some part of their real name. I blame all the Tauruses. Tauri? Regardless. It's their fault. Says the lone crab.
