Jim Moray (With the Oysterband Big Session)- The Cuckoo's Nest
Youtube hasn't got Jim doing the song, but it has a decent rendition by Ashley Hutchings and a number of other big British folk names. Jim and Oysterband go mroe electronic and high energy, but it's still a shockingly clean dirty song. And at myspace, there's a fair sampling of Jim's own stuff

Again, none of that, but ehre's a couple of her other songs Sheath and Knife / Bewcastle(THe audio falls apart towards the end of Sheath and Knife, but recovers for Bewcastle)

June Tabor, like Maddy prior, is pretty much one of the Divas of the British folk scene. She's also very inclined to cover Richard Thompson tracks.

I discovered her, quite literally, by walking into a used music store when they were playing her "best of". I bought it out of the player - the girl behind the counter admitted she wouldn't have let me if she didn't have a copy at home. I now have three of her cds and want the other two I know about.
