Date: 2006-02-01 06:15 am (UTC)Cherie Priest got discussed at VP9 as a really good new writer. Then I started reading her Livejournal (Here (http://wicked-wish.livejournal.com/)), and I had to try her out. The first chapter sold me.
And I remembered you tend to like gothic-flavoured fantasy. (Last year, you pounced on Robin McKinley's Sunshine. I don't know if that one was to your taste, but your reaction then gave me the idea you'd like Cherie Priest.)
