lenora_roseSo, due to soem shenanigans online, I felt vaguely inspired to send Road Sign, a story I haven't submitted since 2006 (even though I never trunked it and never meant to stop subbing) to a very low-paying market whose current guidelines it happened to fit.
Feeling slightly bad about potentially letting it go for low pay... I subbed another story (With a tweak to exactly one line that made the whole thing make a LOT more sense - Nick Mamatas of Clarkesworld was right on the money on that one) to Fantasy Magazine, one of the better paying online locales.
