lenora_roseNot much to say. Got another scene done today (Actually, one rewritten to fit an actual personality, and another written from scratch). I was worried I wouldn't have enough to say that was relevant to the plot or theme, as opposed to character development, and eek, this was a sort-of sex scene. Sex scenes are notorious for being gratuitous additions to books, so I always feel that it include one, it has to be necessary to not ust one, but at least two or three of the main aspects of story: Plot, character, theme, place -- some people add or subtract others as they favour. But, next thing I knew, they were arguing about something deeply relevant. Yay!
Sigh. Now to fix the next scene. Well, not now. I think I'll go read Thud! for a while. Yes, I should sleep, but if I eat late at night, I always feel cruddy if I don't wait at least half an hour before going to bed. So, Pratchett time.
Amusing note: The CD Jeff bought me, which has only two tracks, instead of the eleven it ought, doesn't have the *first* two tracks after all. It has the first and the fourth. This is definitely the weirdest messed-up album I've ever owned.
