My computer desk at the Rehab centre is *right* by a window at the back of the building. Which means a ncie view of the river and the green foliage just below.
So I had a fabulous view *all day* of the two deer who were alternately napping and grazing and looking wary when someone entered the parking lot. Oh, and snuggling and lickign each others' faces. I think it's late enough in the year they almost have to be does, as they looked too big for this year's fawns and they were without antler.
Being on the second floor also meant that their sleeping spots were in plain sight, though they were almost invisible from the parking lot (Had I not known where to look, i might not have realised those were ears).
At first I thought one had a big sore on its face, alas - then I thought I saw an identical one on the other, and decided it might be a tag. Then I thought I was mistaken and it was the first.
Oh, and then the printer died, so I moved to filing, which not only put me right in front of a completely different window, but meant I was looking window-wards almost always, so watching no longer required leaving my work for more than a glance-worth of time. As it was, i got an impressive amount of work done for the amount of watching I managed.
