lenora_roseWell, I've done some work on Soldier over the last few days, yes, but I wasn't sure how to list rewrites of already once rewritten stuff that failed to be saved. I think I actually got it more right the third time through, though. Anyhow, today I do know how to list this one:
Progress notes for January 25, 2007:
Soldier of the Road
New Words: 503
Reason for stopping: Took a 10 minute break to see what was new on Making Light this week. Read for hours.
Tea: Chai.
Music: Mostly Jim Moray (Both albums), some Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.
Mean Things: Condescension.
There’s always one more quirk in the character: Ketan is never going to be one of those people who says, "I just don't know who I am anymore."
Can't stop fidgeting: This scene is an insert before the point I'm supposed to be at.
Inevitable Asides: If the living room weren't directly between both the entrances to the house, I'd be saying I don't expect to see my husband at all for the next two months.
Yes, he managed today to get himself a Wii.
The first memo he left himself on it was "Go to event".
