Why is it that whenever I'm given an essay meant to be roughly 2000 words, I end up with almost 4k? In this case, for the record, I cut one poem actually typed up entirely, used only half the quotations I pulled especially from the critics, and never got to 4 of the poems I stared at until my eyes ached. And I decided I actually do like many of the poems of Sir Thomas Wyatt (I knew I liked *two* of the ones we looked at in class, which is wny I picked him. Several others improve on actual reading, rather than skimming.)
I think it's B grade work; competent but not wholly imaginative.
And I didn't get to sneak in the reference to Making Light.
