Raising the Storm
New Words: 660 plus some minor word choice tweaks.
Reason for stopping: Well, the instructions I heard were "Just keep typing until you get to the genocide."* So I did.
Music: Sarah Slean - Night Bugs. (On repeat.)
Mean Things: Someone has just decided killing everyone is preferable to any alternative solution. Someone else (Darusiekev) just accidentally did magic's equivalent to setting off the timer on an explosive, which almost renders the attempted genocide moot.
Can't stop fidgeting: Of all things, not about RtS. I just figured out how to make the beginning of my trunked novel work. I figured out how to do in one scene what used to take two chapters. But it's been to most of the good agents, since it was at one point the best thing I'd managed to ever write ... fsck. Dammit, Bird, get out of my head.
There's always one more quirk in the character: Darusiekev has a sense of humour!
