I'd been saying, with some relief, that the cold that hit Colin badly this last week only left me feeling light-headed and cruddy Monday evening. The rest of it has only been a bit of coughing, far less of a concern than the general State of the Computer (It still doesn't have the evil-but-necessary Word, or my e-mail program. Whoops.) or the various Social related activities (Donation requests printed out, tickets made).

Yesterday, I began the day inexplicably tired. Beyond the usual tired. Unable to really focus. Fortunately, work was dead.

However, over the course of the day, tired slowly morphed into headachy and lightheaded and then out and out sickly, and my concentration grew worse, but then again, I had no work to do, so no problem. I ended up leaving work a bit after three, trudged off to where I could buy bus tickets, then made my way by bus to home. Where I slept, with a brief intermission to mumble half-awake to a newly arrived Colin (Though my cat, not he, woke me to do so), until Seven. At which point Colin, seeing me stir, noted the soup he'd spent the last while making was now ready.

So I got up enough to have some lovely hot & sour soup (With scallops!), and watch more Veronica Mars. I ended up going to bed on time, and I didn't toss & turn much before I drifted, though I usually end up wide awake until 2:00 AM if I sleep in the daytime, sick or exhausted or not. Obviously, I didn't get to choir practice.

Mmm... I like Colin.

I'm feeling better today, but still a tad headachy. Still, I should know better than to assume a cold won't flare up just when I think it's dying off.

No writing this week so far, since the computer is still less than intact. Bleah. Will fix that on this weekend, which is my long weekend -- in spite of the fact that I have at least one necessary activity every single day.
