Stuff and A Survey

I've been told before that imposing a writing deadline was a good way to get housework done. I guess I've now seen that in action.
Still, in spite of a cleaner house, I made good progress this weekend on the d****d book; I won't reach the end in a week, but I'll reach a good break point, the 3/4 scene which is one of the big key drama marks.
Now I just need to tidy up my study, especially as my brother is offering it as a billet for the last weekend I'm away. We were talking about putting the mattresses against the wall and putting the stair-climber in, but that probably would have waited until after the trip anyhow. Still, if I get my DVD and VCR set up across the room from their present location, I can actually have the exercise space I've sometimes longed for. Just in time for Winter, when I walk home far less. (I'm *not* doing an hour-long trudge in heavy snow and -20 C, never mind -30 C.)
A Survey
I fudged about one question, since technically I haven't updated my user info to add my friends policies, but only because I'd been looking at how to formulate it. (Edit to add: And as of 4:30 I've actually done so. Sometimes I even don't procrastinate!)
