Raising the Storm
New Words: Over 150, probably less than 250 words.
Reason for stopping: End of the night
Tea: Cold milk unadorned
Music: Mixed Tape of Nordic, medieval, and movie soundtracks, mostly vocal but with no lyrics in modern English.
Can't stop fidgeting: Mostly doing rewrites on the last section, to account for the broken arm and other injuries. But I think they'll manage.
So, by tomorrow after work, I'll be off to the Baronial event near Gimli, so it's likely there'll be no writing until I get back. I am bringing a small notebook, however, and I deliberately wrote just enough of the closing segment to give myself a taste of how it should go, so it can stew properly in my mind.
If you aren't one of the several people on lj who'll actually be there, have a very fine weekend. (Of course, if you are one of those going to the event, I wish you a very fine weekend also, but I'll get to witness you having it.)
