lenora_roseIt looks now like the trip which we expected to do in December will happen mid November. (Off to Edmonton and a couple of places in BC).
Which makes November bad for NaNo.
I signed up anyhow. The worst I can do is fail. at this point if I get 30k I'll be pleased. if I finish I will be, well, chuffed. if I hit draft end, however awful, I might well be doing happy dances.
And if nothing else, well, I probably really won't be much on the internet while travelling.
I've pretty firmly decided on Labyrinth - I'm aiming to have the last bit of what I'm keeping of the draft to date revised before then, so I'll know my word count (Already started this). I'm printing out the part of the draft I intend to throw out to read through, and the plot summary as I think it's going to be, so i can look over them in advance then abandon them. So I have stuff to do before November 1st that doesn't qualify as adding words.
Assuming the Dana doesn't keel over on me. It's been behaving since that one day of crashing randomly. I intend to write and save to the memory card, though. While in Winnipeg I'm hoping Colin will let me go to a write-in or two.
