Bird of Dusk
Total words new or revised : 1600
Probable percentage actually new: 70%
Reason for stopping: Bedtime (considering I work tomorrow.)
Tea: orange pekoe earlier, "grenade" soda
Music: More of the semi-random mix on my computer, though this stretch seems to emphasize Oysterband, Sarah Slean and Steeleye Span. I need to mix things up more.
There's Always one more Quirk in the character: Jen likes violence and threats.
Darling Du Jour:
"I'm a little disappointed," he admitted to Harry.
"Not to get your face beat in?"
"No," Fionchadd replied. "I'm fine with that part. I just thought he had more imagination."
To-read pile: Diana Wynne Jones - The Game, Wrede & Stevermer - The Grand Tour. It was hard Not to start reading that in the midst of Martha wells, and I'm enjoying Wells' books THOROUGHLY. (Forodwaith, you were right that the more modern idioms work better with the Ile-Rien setting.)
