lenora_roseMy brother is home - well, he's staying with Brannie_bird, but he's in the city. I've seen him twice now. This makes me unreasonably happy. of course, it also coincided with some hanging otu with other cool people I don't see enough.
Too much video-game playing, not enough archery or writing, though I did manage some of each. Work goes well; the place that has me two days a week has asked me to do another job for them that moves it up to two and a half days this coming week (And three and a half days working, total, in the week.) Not sure if it's going to be added to or not. I guess I'll find out on Wednesday.

Bird of Dusk
Total words new or revised : around 500 in scene, about 100 elsewhere.
Probable percentage actually new: 100% (Plus some running back to do editing tweaks to better foreshadow a significant detail)
Reason for stopping: Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the next scene started.
Tea: Milk with vanilla and honey.
Music: The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster, Yasmine White, Simple Truths
Mean Things: Self-destructive behaviour, and a complete lack of visions.
To-read pile: Martha Wells - The Ships of Air, Diana Wynne Jones - The Game

Probable percentage actually new: 100%
Reason for stopping: Almost 3 AM, also emotionally wrecked.
Tea: earlier, orange pekoe with the usual, this session, nada.
Music: A new tracklist on the computer, lots of RT, Fairport, and Boiled in Lead, some Loreena McKennitt and Jim Moray and others
Mean Things: This story is now, to borrow from one of truepenny's lj icons, "Replete with Degrading Sex."
To-read pile: Diana Wynne Jones - The Game, after which I have too many choices to decide (Started on the Ships of Air. Chances are I will pine for the third in that trilogy, but too bad for at least two months.)
