Stupidly insane amounts of detail
Mar. 31st, 2009 12:49 amOr, since I've been blabbing about how hard it is to make nine plates, I decided to post some new photos up at flickr, even though, since my account is a free one, this means my oldest pics have vanished.
Yes, you'll see some cracks. Soem were pretty much inevitable based on the method I was using to decorate. They were also the reason i decided to take photos of the raw clay; just in case they broke in the bisque.
The first ones have come out. They remained cracked, but nothing was lost.
( The plates look something like this )
The rest, and the detail shots, are Here
And while I'm at it, we had a snowpocalypse on Wednesday. This pic was taken when I left the school at One AM Thursday:
( Jesus Christ it's SNOW! Get back in the building! )
