I have NOT moved this novel into my Current Projects file.
My reason for refusing to do ths is that I am NOT doing the most singularly full blown revamp of a project meant to be forgotten and abandoned.
I have not dropped the first two chapters (about 20 pages each), replaced them with a five page prologue, and a little incluing in the opening scene of what was chapter three, then proceeded to carve through it to the end of the original chapter six (of 21).
I have not been writing notes all the while on what needs to be fixed or moved or what the next scene ought to be in whatever notebook is nearest and handiest, or on my thumb drive at school when I've grown tired of retyping history notes...
I haven't been having a hard time getting notes in for the essay due next Friday, or the SCA project I'm supposed to be hammering on, because the character is sitting there staring at me, in the back of my mind.
Oh, hell.

The job interview today went reasonably well, but I dropped more resumes even so. And learned that the crappy Coles bookstore in Polo Park is no longer there at all. I guess having a big box bookstore right across the way that's owned by the same people kind of killed it. Of course, it didn't make a difference to broke me at the moment, but I did think it kind of stank as a general principle.

Just finished reading the Virtu. I want the next book. (the author is currently fretting that it is all horribly horribly broken and everyone will hate it. I don't care. I want MORE!!!) I think I *adore* Mildmay.
Off to not write some more of the book I'm not working on.
Argh!
