Jul. 27th, 2006 12:45 amSo of course I was working without a program in front of me. I had this nagging feeling I was forgetting something.
So even more of course, the play I forgot was so far the best one I've been to, that being Kind Hearts and Coronets, a black comedy of the right sort. It's an adaptation of a film which is an adaptation of a turn-of-the-century book about a young half-Jewish man quietly murdering his way to Dukedom.
(For those of you in town, really, go to see a show or two. There's a pretty good crop this year, and more recommendations than my own to listen to. For those of you not in town -- well, many of these groups tour several of the other Fringes, Edmonton and Minenapolis in particular.)
