Hoping I get things right this time
Oct. 25th, 2011 04:28 pmI HATE EI applications (Which Mat leave counts as). But here's a lovely logical twist.
TO do my mat leave info properly, I need to report every week in the last year when I had NO income or low income.
To do this most effectively, I have to have my ROE. (I can try to put it together from a year of weekly paystubs. From a temp agency, meaning my income did often change week to week and I can't extrapolate). But with the ROE, it's all in one place.
To get access to the ROE, I need to make the EI mat leave application so I can get an access code.
ARGH.
And it looks like somewhere in the application process I slipped and mischecked the thing for weeks of no income, so I have to call to get that corrected before I can even give them the info. Or something.
What bugs me is -- if they have the ROE, which should have this info on it in detail, why do I ALSO need to manually enter it all anyhow? And why can't I confirm that they have my ROE, and get a look at it myself, BEFORE I apply? Or, if I can, that doesn't seem to be what their site and application forms told me.
____________
So, the first time this round that I tried to turn my hair blue, it began to wash out in less than a week. So Sunday I redid it; it seems to have ended up much bluer and possibly more lasting. Huzzah. Pictures soon, once Colin takes some.
____________
Though the pictures at least of the blonde streaks would have been up a while ago, except.
I currently have two flickr accounts; one for art which is full, and one for other, which is not.
I can't get into the latter. At all.
The password I wrote down (Sort of - I wrote the clue to it, but it's also not a password completely unique to the site) doesn't work.
To get them to send me the password, I need to enter certain confirmation information. Which I thought I entered as my own. But evidently not. And whatever I did enter is written down nowhere, even in clue form. it isn't one of the many places where they ask you questions. Those sorts of clues I tend to vary, and have eccentric answers to, but CAN REMEMBER.
So my options are:
Make a third flickr account.
Make a photo account someplace else.
Pay for the main account so I can pile on more pictures there.
Give up the whole thing.
Not a big deal, in any case, but another ARGH.
