I'm not particularly ambitious, either. The problem with the typical organizational structure is that, if promoted "too high", you end up not doing the things that made you interested in that field in the beginning. I'm happy at my current power level, which gives me some autonomy & ability to initiate projects in exchange for a bit of administrative stuff.
And I was going to say that your list seemed light on "fun" creative goals, but I read your next entry & see you already noticed that. Are there physical skill goals you want to set, other than driving? Archery, swimming, downhill slalom racing (g)...?
