lenora_roseI feel like I should be saying something. I keep having ideas for journal entries, thoughts I suspect might even interest other people, reviews or ramblings or political commentary. Then forgetting them when i get here, because I get here so infrequently.

Tomorrow evening, we'll be leaving for World Fantasy Con - we'll be driving most of Wednesday, too, and likely arriving that evening. Thursday I'll be setting up, seeing a few panels, then running off to dinner with Dad and Stepmom. Friday I'll be at the convention until evening, when I run off to take advantage of the ****FORTY-YARD INDOOR ARCHERY RANGE!!!!**** with the local SCA folk. Adn shooting badly, but oh well.
Saturday is Con, con, con, con, probably until stupidly early, Sunday is con until it's done, and I've not been entirely sure whether we'll crash that night and leave in the morning or leave that night to shorten the otherwise marathon drive Monday. Tuesday I said I'd be in class (and, that evening, at mandolin lesson.) I'm sure if I end up still on the road they'll understand, but I'd rather keep to my declared word.
I decided, when it became obvious that the very last bowl wouldn't get fired in time not to take mitosis. I'm trying very hard to get Sher (The mermaid) to a position where I can take it along. Ulp. The dana is charging. I should be doing laundry and packing.
The Angry Chicken is going along, but not to inflict on the convention or, with any luck, our hosts.
