I'm impressed....

Although not the way I'd like to be.

Fantasy magazine took a total of 15 hours to reject me, most of those middle-of-the-night if they are, as I thought, on this continent. (I guess that's the advantage of a story of 2k total.)

Hmm. But I liked having stuff out. Where should it go next?

)-: Sorry. Hey, look at it this way: one rejection closer to getting to throw a party! I don't know fantasy markets particularly well, but I've had reasonably good luck finding markets through a combo of ralan.com and duotrope.com

Ralan is love. At least when looking for markets.

ftr, Fantasy Mag has made their system majorly efficient and are doing that to (for?) everyone now. I have a friend who got an R in 10 minutes or something.

ouch. That's not even time to brace yourself.

For reals.
I think next time I have something to send Fantasy, I'll brace myself first.

I pretty much start braced. I assume rejections so thoroughly that my first acceptance e-mail blindsided me; I was too busy trying to fast-forward a tape on the VCR to the right spot to register it wasn't a rejection.
