The first agent only had a partial, actually - but she replied today, so it worked out (And I don't think she reads my journal...) I really wanted to give her first crack at the full MS because she was one of my dream agents (Nothing wrong with the other, or I'd not have queried her, of course, but ther's A list and A++ list, as it were...)
Of course, she turned it down, but with a useful comment.

I didn't find Yeine terribly passive. Like your Sun, she seemed more like someone who was put in a position where how much she could do was trammelled, leaving her forced to react more than act.
The second protagonist is lower class, less passive, and more interesting, but i don't think you get as much out of her perspective if you don't know what really happened in the first book, because of course from where she is, there's a lot more speculation and out and out lies that have reached her than truth.
